Eternal images. Art in Ancient Egypt

The countless images that have come down to us from ancient Egypt (sculptures, reliefs, paintings) are vivid testimonies to the society that produced them. They are immediately recognisable images, because they reflect a precise artistic canon, profoundly linked to the Egyptian civilisation's vision of the world, the human and the divine.

The guided tour of the small exhibition aims to offer a presentation of Egyptian art and its specificities through a selection of exhibits from the civic collection.
