Guide me in the dark
Workshop for children and young people
Milan (MI)
Saturday 08.11.2025 at 16:30-18:00
The workshop, devised and led by PLAY ART, the didactic section of the Stelline Foundation, proposes an investigation into the lights present in cities at night and a journey into the use of light in the history of Italian and international contemporary art, with a special reference to works of Light Art, such as those created by Mario Airò and Massimo Uberti at the Stelline Foundation between 2008 and 2009 for important international projects. Two works that used light in relation to space, redesigning it and enriching it with new suggestions.
HOW MANY AND WHICH LIGHTS ILLUMINATE THE NIGHT?
Using fluorescent colours, we will create luminous lettering as expressive signs visible in the dark on the theme of the strong light impact of signs in modern cities.
Then at the AEMuseum we will discover in an interactive way the history of energy and innovation in the city of Milan through stories, images and games that will involve children and adults alike!
