FAMU: The Queen and her grandchildren

A visit focused on the figure of Queen Margherita during her holidays at Stupinigi and her relations with her grandchildren who were staying at Racconigi Castle during those months.
Retrace the summers of Grandma (Margaret of Savoy) and her grandchildren (Mafalda, Jolanda, Umberto, Giovanna and Maria) through early 20th century photographs. The car visits and carefree games of the children, so different in appearance and especially in dress from their 18th century princely ancestors immortalised in the portraits in the library.
