Paper Sunday 2026

On the occasion of the Paper Sunday 2026the Bolognini Castle Sant’Angelo Lodigiano is organising a special one-off opening of the archive at the Morando Bolognini Museum Library.

The library’s shelves house rare manuscripts, scientific, historical and literary texts. During the event, some of the most important volumes from the Bolognini collection will be on display, bearing witness to the deep cultural interests of the castle’s owners.

Visitors will have the opportunity to view precious historical documents at close quarters – such as letters, maps, diaries and historical collections – which recount the family’s history and offer a fascinating glimpse into the past and the collective memory.

The guided tour will then continue as we explore the museum’s magnificent rooms, including the rich and precious Armoury, the Throne Room (featuring the Bolognini family tree) and the evocative Hall of Mirrors.
