During the Five Days of Milan, many Italian flags flew from balconies and barricades erected by the rebels. One was even hoisted onto the highest spire of the Duomo next to the Madonnina. Let's visit the Museum of the Risorgimento to discover the origins of this symbol of our Republic: we will look for banners and flags in the museum's display cases and paintings and then make our own rosette.
