Museums, like homes, are the caskets of our past memories. The objects stored in them take us back in time, making us relive our most precious emotions. During the activity, the reading of a silent book will be the starting point for learning to rediscover the value of the objects that accompany our everyday lives. With this event, Villa della Regina inaugurates the cycle of family events Ogni museo è una casa (Every museum is a home), dedicated to discovering the many meanings of “home” as we travel through the rich heritage of the Royal Residences of Savoy and the Regional Directorate of National Museums of Piedmont, accompanied by readings and creative workshops.
