AUTUMN. The sound of the seasons
Caraglio (CN)
Sunday 20.09.2026 at 17:00-18:00
To mark the Autumnal Equinox and as part of the festival of the same name organised by the publisher Nino Aragno, the Artea Foundation is presenting a new cultural event at the Filatoio in Caraglio, dedicated to one of the most famous examples of descriptive music in history: the Concerto in F major Autumn from The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi.
A musical and narrative journey that guides the audience through the succession of images, gestures and atmospheres contained within the three movements of Vivaldi’s score:
- Harvest festival: the joy of the grape harvest, the peasant dances and the exhilaration of wine, evoked by the lively rhythms and the virtuosity of the solo violin.
- Adagio molto: the suspended, contemplative tranquillity of rest, immersed in the mild autumn air.
- Allegro: the energy of the dawn hunt, with the relentless rhythm of the chase, driven by the sound of the horns and the tension of the natural world.
The musical performance is interwoven with an accessible narrative designed to help audiences of all backgrounds discover the transformations and the extraordinary narrative power of this Baroque masterpiece.
