The Reggia di Venaria invites you to visit the new exhibition Queens on stage. The art of Italian costume design between cinema and theatre to admire a careful selection of gowns, made by historic tailoring ateliers, that in the history of cinema have been able to construct the image of queens, often beyond historical truth, as a universal archetype, queens of myth, history and fantasy. Historical figures, such as Marie Antoinette played by Kirsten Dunst for Sofia Coppola's direction, or belonging to the myth, such as Medea/Maria Callas by Pasolini or, again, to the world of fairy tales and fantasy, such as the Queen of Selvascura from Garrone's The Tales of Tales, played by Salma Hayek.
- Meeting 4.45 p.m. at the Clock Tower of the Reggia di Venaria.
- Cost: Free event reserved for Abbonamento Musei holders with compulsory reservation. You must be in possession of the exhibition entrance ticket.
