AM Club | Edible flowers for the home balcony

Bergamo (BG)

AM Club

Saturday 17.05.2025 at 15:00-16:30

For some time now, CREA has been conducting research aimed at the use of uncommon plant species - wild, aromatic, forgotten food species - in the formulation of foodstuffs: these include ornamental species that often play the dual role of flower and food species. In this workshop we will explore the varied universe of edible flowers, their characteristics and potential in the process of innovation and enhancement of the Mediterranean Diet, with a special focus on species that can be easily cultivated on the balcony at home, so that they can be easily used to enrich the daily diet.

Event in the run-up to the Cerealia Festival, curated by Andrea Copetta, in collaboration with CREA, Council for Agricultural Research and Analysis of Agricultural Economics.

  • Cost: Free event with compulsory booking reserved for subscribers. Each Museum Subscription holder may bring along a non-subscriber who will enjoy the guided tour free of charge (the non-subscriber only has to pay for the Museum entrance ticket).
  • BookingReservations can be made in the User Area or by contacting 011.52210
