AM Club | From Fontana to Crippa to Tancredi

On the occasion of the exhibition From Fontana to Crippa to Tancredi. The formidable adventure of the Spatialist Movement, the Accorsi-Ometto Museum proposes a series of thematic guided tours to deepen and understand the Spatialist Movement: an artistic movement that, starting after World War II, revolutionised the concept of space through signs, lines, holes and cuts in canvases, opening up new perspectives in contemporary art.

An experience combining body and art, inspired by Spatialism to explore the concept of inner and outer space.
Just as Fontana “cuts” the canvas to free the pictorial surface and open it to new dimensions, so yoga invites us to create space within ourselves, to observe, welcome and open up to the new.

SPACE ATMOSPHERES: TURIN AND THE 1950S

Guided tour in collaboration with the RAI Radio and Television Museum in Turin

Spatialism was not just painting, but a new way of looking at the world.
Through television, architecture, fashion and design, the tour recounts an era of great experimentation - both artistic and scientific - in which art dialogued with innovation and the desire to overcome the limits of matter.

At the RAI Radio and Television Museum, visitors will discover the most futurist section of the museum's itinerary: from the Radia Manifesto by Tommaso Marinetti, to the spaceship Noos of the programme Journey into the Cosmos by Piero and Alberto Angela (1998), up to the “space news” and galactic programmes where the protagonist becomes the audience itself.

When: Sunday 23 November at 3 pm and Sunday 14 December at 10 am

ART BETWEEN THE LINES

There is a space between words where art is born

Restoring the authentic voice of the protagonists of the Spatialist Movement, this guided tour weaves together readings from interviews, posters and period texts to recount the genius of a group that was able to redefine the boundary between matter and infinity, between thought and creation.
