Archeologistics proposes an exclusive appointment dedicated to the owners of Subscription Museums Piedmont to discover the history and engineering of the famous Statue of St Charles Borromeo in Arona.
In the footsteps of the Borromeos: Statue and City Centre
An itinerary that combines a visit to the Statue with a walk through the historical centre of Arona, following the thread of the Borromeo family. After the ascent to the monument, a panoramic train will accompany the group along the lakefront to the Church of Santa Maria di Loreto. At the end, it will be possible to return to the Statue with the little train or stop in the centre.

- Duration: 3 hours
- Costs: €10 for the guided tour + €8 for the train; free entrance ticket to the Statue for subscribers.
⚠️ Useful Information and Security
To enter the interior of the Statue, the following provisions must be observed:
- Footwear: Obligatory trainers or closed shoes suitable for climbing (no flip-flops or open sandals).
- Luggage: Bulky bags and backpacks must be left on the outdoor terrace.
- Restrictions: Admission is forbidden for children under 6 years of age; between 6 and 12 years an accompanying person is obligatory.
- Cheers: The climb is not recommended for those suffering from claustrophobia or vertigo.
