Let’s celebrate a truly special birthday together: the 200th anniversary of the Museums of Brescia! To mark the occasion, the galleries of the Santa Giulia Museum are reopening a magical treasure chest and showcasing more than 100 marvellous works, long hidden away in the storerooms and now ready to be admired for the very first time. We’ll explore five fantastical worlds — spanning archaeology, art, nature, history and the beyond — discovering how ideas from the past have brought together beauty, science and technology in a unique collection. After the tour, we’ll head to the workshop to become artists ourselves! Using the monotype technique, everyone will be able to create their own special postcard to tell the whole world about the wonders of our museum.
