A spectacular experience offering a unique perspective on the history of St Lawrence’s Cathedral. Accompanied by the museum guides, you will climb to a height of 45 metres inside the 12th-century bell tower, which houses a second 10th-century tower, before reaching the summit to admire the “city of 100 towers” from above. The tour includes a visit to the lapidary and the multimedia underground archaeological area. Depending on the date chosen, the tour offers an exclusive insight into:
- Saturday 7 November: A visit to the bell tower and the archaeological trail.
- Sunday 22 November (Bell Tower Special + The Cathedral’s Treasure): As well as the bell tower, the tour includes the Treasury, a secure room housing a collection of precious reliquaries, church furnishings and liturgical vestments dating from the 17th to the 20th century.
At the end of each tour, visitors can enjoy a delicious snack at the museum, with hot herbal teas and local produce.
