Keith Haring. Radiant Vision

After the success of the four US tour stops - in Missouri, New York, Florida and Pennsylvania - the Keith Haring's pop art arrives in Italy with the exhibition Keith Haring. Radiant Vision presented in theOrangery of the Villa Reale in Monza from 30 September to 29 January 2023. The exhibition is produced by General Service and Security, GCR and Saga MDS in collaboration with the Consorzio Villa Reale e Parco di Monza. Artistic and Production Direction is entrusted to Beside Studio.

Over 100 works by the most famous pop artist of the 1980s, from a private collection, including lithographs, silkscreens, drawings on paper and posters, illustrate the entire span of Haring's short but prolific career, examining different aspects of the artist's life and output, including his underground and street art drawings, exhibitions in some of New York's most famous galleries, the Pop Shop and his commercial work.

Supporter of nuclear de-escalation, civil rights, child welfare and AIDS awareness, Haring has spent his career making posters, public artworks and charitable commissions in support of these vital causes.
In the exhibition, visitors will immediately recognise the iconic 'Radiant Babies' that permeated American culture in the 1980s and became iconic symbols of the era. The images are powerful examples of how Haring fought for change using art as a platform for his activism.
