Ecomuseo dei sette ricordi

In the early 1990s, Airone magazine dedicated an article to the Campassi Valley, a wild and ancient valley in the centre of the municipality, entitled 'The Valley of Seven Memories'. The author of the article had followed a route from Vegni to Campassi. During this route, he passed by the belts, following mule tracks that had long been unused. The route passed through nuclei that were already uninhabited at the time, next to old chapels and led the author across bridges and fords to reach old mills and villages that were still inhabited. Along this route, seven were the memories that the author had found.Inspired by this article, seven signposts of memories were chosen, resilient memories, fundamental themes through which to revitalise the visual and cultural identity of the territory, themes constructed by the generations that have inhabited this strip of the Apennines.Yesterday only memories, today a starting point.
