Turin-Milan 1920-1930
Painting between Classic and Avant-garde

The 1920s represent in art one of the most astonishing decades in the national and European history of the 20th century.

The exhibition, curated by Nicoletta Colombo e Giuliana Godio, e hosted in the new exhibition rooms of the Accorsi-Ometto Museum, builds on the 1920 - year that marks Italy's entry into the artistic temperament of the Return to Order, characterised by the recovery of classicism from a modern perspective and the desire for a true moral and spiritual rebirth - and focuses on two artistic realities, characterised by diversity and correspondence, such as Turin and Milan.
