Plaisirs de Culture 2023

Valle d'Aosta joins the 2023 edition of the European Heritage Days with the 11th edition of Plaisirs de Culture en Vallée d'Aoste.

The cultural review, which will take place 16 to 24 September 2023 in various locations in the Aosta Valley, has as its theme Living cultural heritage, chosen by the European Union to emphasise the importance of keeping cultural heritage alive and ever relevant through the countless narrative declinations used to tell the equally diverse cultural testimonies.

From 16 to 24 September, therefore, the region's archaeological sites, castles and museums will be open free of charge at the same time as numerous activities, events and special visits free of charge or at reduced rates in order to appreciate, on this special occasion of European resonance, the importance of protecting, enhancing and, above all, transmitting the extraordinary cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible, in flexible and transversal ways that are able to align with current communication systems and languages.
