The Best of Annecy festival 2023: Animated cinema and digital creativity in Milan

With less than a month to go before the conclusion of the Annecy Festival, the traditional review The Best of Annecy - which will travel the world for a year to report on the best of the festival - has chosen Milan and MEET as its first stage, on 12 July 2023.

Over the course of its 60 years, the Annecy Festival has established itself as a world-renowned event dedicated to animation and capable of presenting and discussing styles, techniques and experiments that anticipate new trends. With more than 100 countries represented and the screening of hundreds of TV films, shorts and feature films, Annecy has once again established itself as the hub of world animation

The best of this will be told through a selection of short films and a VR experience.

• • From 18.30 the possibility of seeing the work with visors BLACK HOLE MUSEUM + BODY BROWSER by Wen-Chi Su, and from the same time we can get to know each other and chat over an aperitif. Then from 8 p.m. in the MEET Theatre together with Yves Nougarède, one of the festival's souls, we will present, watch together and comment on the best of the festival's short films
