Lenci Ceramics. The collection of Giuseppe and Gabriella Ferrero and 20th-century Turin in the Sabauda Gallery

Thanks to the generous donation of collectors Giuseppe and Gabriella Ferrero, the Royal Museums present a new permanent section of the Sabauda Gallery dedicated to the ceramics from the Turin factory Lenciwith 132 works documenting the activities of 17 artists, including Mario Sturani, Giovanni Grande, Gigi Chessa, Sandro Vacchetti, Giuseppe Porcheddu and Elena König Scavini.

The new installation, realised in collaboration with the Consulta per la Valorizzazione dei Beni Artistici e Culturali di Torino (Council for the Promotion of the Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Turin)is exhibited in dialogue with a selection of works from the modern art collection of the Galleria Sabauda, with works by painters and sculptors active in Turin between the two wars.
