Strong, strong! (2023 - 2024)
Vinadio, Exilles, Fenestrelle, Gavi and the Citadel of Alessandria: the project Strong, strong! wants enhancing the extraordinary heritage of Piedmontese fortificationsthanks to extraordinary openings, guided tours, live performances and community moments. Project by Regione Piemonte, with the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation. Organisation and coordination: Fondazione Artea, in collaboration with Abbonamento Musei Piemonte Valle d'Aosta, Piemonte Dal Vivo, Visit Piemonte.

Throughout 2023 Abbonamento Musei has proposed itself as a privileged tool to organically access the entire cultural offer of Bergamo Brescia Italian Capital of Culture 2023, integrating the museum offer with that of live shows and events, with particular attention to the resident public and the local public.

Ecomuseums Natural Stage (2022 - 2023)
Through the project Ecomuseums Natural Stage, Abbonamento Musei in cooperation with Regione Piemonte, Rete degli Ecomusei and Fondazione Piemonte dal vivo, works on the valorisation of Piedmont's ecomuseums through a schedule of shows, guided tours and activities to discover these unique museums and their territory.

The castles of the Aosta Valley (2022)
The project The castles of the Aosta Valleycurated by Abbonamento Musei in collaboration with the Autonomous Region of Valle d'Aosta, presents a new way of experiencing and narrating the castle circuit through an online magazine, smartphone-friendly social content and creative writing dedicated to storytelling by Scuola Holden, as well as the creation of fascinating photo reportages by IED Turin.

Art with those who are part of it (Lombardia edition) is the multi-platform project of Abbonamento Musei to enable the public to discover and rediscover with new eyes the rich collections preserved by the 13 realities united in the Network of 19th century Lombardy.

Art with those who are part of it (Piedmont edition) is the Abbonamento Musei initiative for discover in a new way the collections of Piedmontese and Valdostan museums through the voices and most curious stories of their protagonists.

Culture for recovery (2021 - 2022)
Initiative reserved for volunteers, officials and operators of the Lombardy Civil Protection and to the volunteers registered in 27 Voluntary Associations who performed operational service for the management of the COVID-19 emergency. The objective was to promote the dissemination and consolidation of initiatives aimed at containing the psycho-social consequences of the distancing and restrictions to social life necessary to reduce the risks of COVID-19 spread, with particular attention to cultural tools that can support to individuals in moments of loneliness and at the same time provide an opportunity for personal growth.

The Neighbourhood at the Museum (2018 - 2020)
The project The Neighbourhood at the Museum, devised by the Abbonamento Musei Association in collaboration with the Turin Neighbourhood Houses Network and supported by the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, has brought museum heritage closer to citizenship, fostering the active cultural enjoyment.

Grand Tour (2008 - 2019)
Grand Tour was the programme of itineraries, on foot and by bus, organised and coordinated by Abbonamento Musei with voluntary cultural associations, museums, tour guides and ATLs: more than a hundred itineraries between Turin and the Piedmont region, always with new ideas and themes connected to the discovery of historical, artistic and natural heritage.

Exhibition activities

The Association organises and participates in the exhibition event management in cooperation with the superintendencies, museums and member institutions.

From 2000 to 2006, the Association was involved in in the enhancement of the collection of drawings held by the Royal Library of Turin:

  • Drawings in Rembrandt's Century (2006)
  • Leonardo da Vinci. Masterpieces on show e Michelangelo Buonarroti. The Crucified Christ (2006)
  • The gaze and the tale. The Passion of Christ from the 15th to the 18th century in drawings from the Royal Library (2005)
  • Leonardo Antonello Van Eyck. Three Renaissance Masterpieces from the Royal Library and the Museum of Ancient Art in Turin (2003-2004)
  • Vittorio Alfieri. Rebel aristocrat (2003), State Archives - Turin
  • Napata and Meroe. Golden Temples on the Nile (1999), Promotrice delle Belle Arti - Turin
  • The Revolutions of 1848. The Europe of images (1998)
  • 1898. Second Pia photographs the Shroud (1998)

Studies and consultancy

The experience, knowledge and management data generated by the projects led the Association to collaborate with member organisations, the Cultural Observatory of Piedmont, other research organisations and independently, to thedrawing up studies related to heritage management and the public.

Among the most important studies are:

  • Apriti Cielo Museum in Pino Torinese. Guidelines for the construction of a management project carried out with Fondazione Fitzcarraldo for the Piedmont Region (2006)
  • Preliminary study for the realisation of a Florence Card on behalf of the Municipality of Florence and the Chamber of Commerce of Florence (2006-2008)
  • Pre-feasibility study for the realisation of a Carta Giovani in Piedmont in cooperation with the Cultural Observatory of Piedmont for the Piedmont Region (2007-2008)
  • Preliminary study for the realisation of a Culture Card in the Province of Trento (2010)
  • Drawing up the business plan for the realisation of the Lucca Card (2011)
