Temporary exhibition
Youth and the Future
Royal Palace of Milan - Milan (MI)
Non in abbonamentoFrom Saturday 17 October 2026 to Sunday 1.11.2026
This group exhibition stems from the international project conceived by John Caccamo following a competition for ideas open to young people from all over the world. The initiative invites the younger generation to share their thoughts and visions for change in the face of today’s major crises, making them active participants in shaping the future. The contributions received have been compiled in the book Manifesto for Change and have inspired the works on display, which come from the collection Ifis art by Banca Ifis and created by leading figures in contemporary art such as Francesca Cataldi, Maurizio Cattelan, Mario Ceroli, Emilio Isgrò, Mimmo Jodice, Giulia Napoleone, Mimmo Paladino, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Fabrizio Plessi, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Ferdinando Scianna e Guido Strazza.
The collaboration with Arte Continua Association has enriched the exhibition with works by leading international artists such as Adel Abdessemed, Leandro Erlich, Antony Gormley, Eva Jospin, Anish Kapoor, Ahmed Mater, Moataz Nasr, Giuseppe Penone, Tobias Rehberger, Julian Schnabel e Kiki Smith. The exhibition also includes a photographic reportage by Marco Anelli on the performance held at the Hall of the Signatura at Vatican Museums, three previously unpublished works by Mimmo Paladino, Emilio Isgrò e Michelangelo Pistoletto, a feature by Jamie Hawkesworth and a video installation by the director Luc Jacquet realised with MASI Film. The initiative supports environmental and social projects in collaboration with the Sylva Foundation for reforestation initiatives in the Forests of Change.
