The Etruscans and the Veneti: deities, sacred waters and small offerings to the gods

Sunday 8 November 2026 at 16:00-17:00
Why did Titus Livius describe the Etruscans as “the most religious of peoples”? Let’s find out together through artefacts linked to the sacred world: bronze images of deities, terracotta votive offerings and objects associated with water rituals – a vital resource then as now – in dialogue with the traditions of the ancient Veneti people. In the workshop, the children will create a set of miniature votive vases, inspired by the offerings placed in ancient sanctuaries.
