A brilliant save, FOOLISH

From 30 October to 1 November 2026, back Paratissima in its twenty-second year: three days dedicated to contemporary art, which this year goes by the name of PARATISSIMA FOOLISH.

The beating heart of the event will be the Royal College Carlo Alberto of Moncalieri, whose historic buildings will be transformed into a stage for over 400 artists featuring emerging talents, international projects, immersive installations, curated exhibitions and performances.

The topic: the figure of the Fool

At the heart of the 2026 edition is the Fool: a free and unconventional perspective which, through irony and paradox, is capable of overturning conventions and questioning the present. The artists take on this role to guide visitors in observing reality from unexpected perspectives, raising new questions and drawing new connections. The official visual for the event was created by the Turin-based illustrator and artist Chiara Morra.

A packed programme of events and public art

In addition to the main exhibition, the programme comprises two major initiatives:

• Paratissima LIVE: a programme of talks, discussions and performances designed to encourage dialogue between the public, artists and industry professionals.
• Art in the City: the city-wide project that takes contemporary artworks out of the Collegio, spilling out onto the streets, squares, shop windows and shops of Moncalieri and transforming the town into an unconventional exhibition space.
