Long live prehistory!

A journey through time in close contact with nature! A dynamic programme lasting 3 hours, which winds its way through the woods and the museum’s galleries, allowing you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of prehistory and discover the origins of our region at first hand.

During the experience, you’ll be able to explore:

• A prehistoric campsite completely rebuilt.
• The Rumiano rock shelter.
• A nature trail among the local flora and the natural pond.
• The Museum Workshop featuring experimental re-enactments and exhibitions.
• The Tactile Collection, designed to help us understand how ancient artefacts (pottery, weapons, weaving tools and much more) were made.
• Archaeological finds originals found in Vaie.

• Opening times: 10.00–13.00 and 15.00–18.00
• Guided tours: Departure at 10.00 am and the 3 p.m.
• Reservation: Mandatory
