For kids | Sport in the ancient world

A fascinating journey through the Greek and Roman sections of the museum to discover what sport was like over 2,000 years ago. Alongside athletes, heroes and deities, the children will explore unique artefacts that tell the story of training, competitions and the origins of the ancient Olympic Games.

In the second part of the activity, divided into teams, the children will test their skills with games of skill, memory games, riddles and brain teasers. An engaging experience that allows them to learn first-hand the importance of teamwork, following the rules and fair play, whilst reflecting on sport as a fundamental opportunity for personal growth and sharing.
