FAMILY AFTERNOONS
Every Sunday at 4 pm, activities for families with children aged 4 and over. Activities designed to explore artworks and artists, offering a fun and engaging way to discover art and its various forms of expression.
- Sunday 4 October, 4.00 pm | Quickly motionless
And if everything were to come to a sudden halt, what form would it take? As they view contemporary art installations on the Pista 500 and works from the Futurist period in the Permanent Collection, children will explore the theme of speed through activities involving physical movement.
This event is a Family Tour: it involves a guided tour of the museum, with opportunities for discussion and interactive activities in the exhibition spaces. - Sunday 11 October, 4.00 pm | Let’s make ourselves comfortable
A journey of discovery through the real and imaginary rooms depicted by the artists. In Henri Matisse’s paintings, tables, chairs and decorative elements take centre stage, interacting with the figures inhabiting the depicted rooms. This activity invites children to interpret these interior spaces, revealing how a room can tell a story about who we are.

Canaletto’s Venice and Bellotto’s Dresden are stops along a journey that immerses you in fascinating stories and diverse places around the world. A surprising journey from city to city, from artwork to artwork, combining observation, dialogue and activities worthy of true explorers.

An exploratory journey along the Pista 500 in search of surprising works, from Peter Fischli’s unusual little trains to Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster’s monumental panorama. An unexpected journey through languages, forms and materials that reveal different ways of designing and producing works of art today.
