Franca Ghitti. The Memory of Things

A long time ago, the people of Camuno did not use an alphabet like ours but entrusted their thoughts and stories to images carved into stone. The artist Franca Ghitti, originally from Val Camonica, was fascinated by these ancient symbols and has reinterpreted them in her works, giving rise to a personal expressive language, almost a new alphabet. In the workshop, by experimenting with unusual materials, we too create works that straddle the line between the contemporary and the past, in a continuous dialogue between the present and the deepest roots of history.
