To mark World Breastfeeding Week 2026 (1–7 October), the Leone Museum is offering a special multilingual guided tour.
On the ground floor of the museum, visitors will be able to view, free of charge, a selection of works centred on the theme of motherhood from antiquity onwards.

Exploring the museum

For girls and boys aged 0 to 5, accompanied by their families, the museum offers an experience that visitors can enjoy at their own pace during normal opening hours. The following will be available at the ticket office: materials and instructions to discover the museum’s exhibits, interesting facts and stories.

Opening Hours

Tuesday–Friday: 15.30–18.00
Saturday and Sunday: 14.00–19.00

Guided tours

Tuesday 7 October, at 10.30 and the 15.30, the week ends with two free guided tours organised by the museum’s Educational Services team.

Booking is not compulsory.

The museum with pushchairs and prams

All the museum’s spaces are accessible with pushchairs and prams. The main entrance is also accessible: to avoid the steps, you can enter via the adjacent Vicolo Alciati, following an announcement to staff.
