Cultivating wellbeing

The Friends of Villa della Regina Association presents Cultivating wellbeing. Journeys through culture, nature and health at Villa della Regina, a new project that showcases the royal residence as a place where historical heritage, landscape, prevention, quality of life and the cultural development of the community come together.

The opening day of Saturday 26 September marks the start of a programme that will run until June 2027, featuring talks, walks, outdoor activities and opportunities for discussion, enabling visitors to experience the Villa as a place of wellbeing.

PROGRAMME FOR SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER

🌿 2.00 pm – Botanical walk through the Vigna della Regina

The gardeners of the Consortium of the Royal Residences of the House of Savoy and the project coordinator The Bee Motorway and Wild Pollinators will guide the public through the vineyard. This is an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the ecological value of the species found there and their role in the historical development of the estate’s agricultural landscape.

🥗 4.30 pm – Talk: “Nourishing Wellbeing”

A talk on the role of diet in promoting health and celebrating culinary traditions. With a nutritionist Andrea De Vecchi will speak Stefano Polato, a chef selected by the European Space Agency for the mission Futura and creator of the “vertical cooking” method. The session will be chaired by Dr. Roberto Frediani.

🍷 6.00 pm – Aperitif and wine tasting in the vineyard (6th edition)

The traditional event organised by the Associazione Amici di Villa della Regina is back, to toast the end of summer. A convivial occasion amongst the vine rows with a panoramic view of the city, accompanied by live music from the band Arches between the rows of vines.
