Born out of the vision of Gene Roddenberry, the narrative universe of Star Trek has redefined the way in which humanity envisages space exploration and its own future. The MUFANT by Turin, in close collaboration with the group Star Trek Turin and the collector Stefanie Gröner, is revamping its exhibition space to mark the 60th anniversary of the first broadcast of the Classic Series.
The exhibition offers a complete immersion in the worlds of Federation via action figure featuring iconic characters such as Spockthe Captain Pike, Kirk e Sulu, accompanied by detailed dioramas which recreate historical settings, including the’The Universe of the Mirror. Visitors can admire close-up replicas of the saga’s most famous artefacts, including phaser, tricorder, communicators and the three-dimensional chessas well as uniforms original and costumes aliens. A central feature of the exhibition is the faithful reproduction of the the Enterprise’s captain’s chair, donated to the museum by Gabriella Lisiero in memory of Alberto Lisiero, co-founder of the Star Trek Italian Club. The exhibition also includes an original feature dedicated to the alien flora, creating a dialogue between the world of science fiction and the Fantabotanical Garden of the museum.
