Temporary exhibition
CINDERELLAS. Stories of Crystal Roots
Ecomuseum of the Ivrea Morainic Amphitheatre (AMI) - Chiaverano (TO)
includedFrom Sunday 6.09.2026 to Sunday 18.10.2026
At the end of a long tour of the eco-museums of Piedmont, an exhibition is coming to photographic, fiction e immersive which invites us to slow our gaze and cross the threshold between what appears marginal and what reveals an unexpected beauty.
The project arose from the convergence of research into Enza Merazzi and the curatorship of Daria Piccotti, weaving photography, writing, interpretative reading e botany along a route multisensory dedicated to wild herbs, often referred to as “weeds”. The exhibition combines the voice and the reading of Francesco Pepe to the botanical consultancy of Veronica Morei, offering a perspective that blends poetry, sensitivity and rigour.
Through an exhibition organised into photographic diptychs which bring together overview e portrait, every plant is transformed from a mere silent presence into a central figure. La nature photography engages with the written word in the enchanting setting of the Masino hamlet a Caravino, in the heart of the’Morenic Amphitheatre of Ivrea. The exhibition, organised thanks to the AMI Museum Network and to the association Narravolando together with the Municipality of Caravino, offers a profound gesture of care aimed at rediscovering a more mindful relationship with nature.
📍 The exhibition is being held at the L’Impronta del Ghiacciaio Ecomuseum
