The Association Piedmont Ecomuseum Network was set up in 2009 to support and sustain the activities carried out by its member ecomuseums, through collaboration and discussion with the communities of the reference territories, local authorities and in particular with the "Ecomuseum Laboratory" of the Piedmont Region with legislation on ecomuseums (Regional Law 13/2018).
An ecomuseum is a participatory practice of valorisation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, elaborated and developed by the local community also through an organised entity in the perspective of sustainable development [from the definition shared at national level with the Catania Charter - 2007].
Museum Subscription with Piedmont Region, Network of Ecomuseums e Piemonte dal Vivo Foundation, work together with Ecomuseums Natural Stagethe project to enhance the value of Piedmont's ecomuseums through a schedule of shows, guided tours and activities.

Piedmont welcomes the third edition of “Ecomuseums Natural Stage', an initiative that kicks off on 16 June 2024 with more than 20 shows designed to highlight the ecomuseums Piedmontese and their extraordinary territory.
In synergy with Piemonte dal Vivo and the Piedmont Region e Museum Subscription, works together with the Network Ecomuseums Piedmont to create a programme of events site-specific that blend perfectly with the spaces of the ecomuseumsoffering an experience that goes beyond a mere theatrical performance. The project is conceived and developed in a shared manner by the institutions, with the aim of stimulating the active participation of local communities and to raise awareness of the ecomuseums to be understood as cultural tools for recognising the values and history of an area, for caring for and regenerating places in order to encourage the transmission of traditional knowledge and innovative projects to the new generations in particular.
