Monks' Dormitories

A unique opportunity to discover the hidden places of Staffarda Abbey. Accompanied by guides from DialogArt, you can access the upper floor of the monastery complex, which is usually closed to the public.

The route winds its way through the long convent corridors and dormitories, allowing visitors to admire the back of the altarpiece at close quarters and to hear previously unpublished stories and anecdotes. Between the desks of the old school, the stories of the children of the past, of the schoolteachers, of rural life and of the years of the great wars that marked the history of Staffarda will be relived.
