VITAE. The feeling of Nature

The exhibition is structured as a exhibition route broadly dedicated to the artist Jessica R. Carroll, set up in the evocative settings of the Castle of Agliè. The exhibition proposes an in-depth investigation of the feeling of Nature, exploring the dynamics of interconnectedness and the biological relationships that govern life on our planet. Through a selection of poetic sculptures, the artist transforms the historical halls of Savoy residence in an itinerary of discovery, where fauna becomes a metaphor for universal concepts.

Absolute protagonists are living beings such as bees, fishes, eels, frogs e crickets, used to narrate the fundamental value of the collaborationof the coexistence and the communication between different species. The public is invited to interact with immersive environments e installations evoking sounds and movement dynamics, stimulating the’imagination and inviting a radical change of perspective. The exhibition is not confined to the interior spaces but extends fluidly towards the gardens outside, establishing a harmonious dialogue between the’contemporary art and the landscape context. Particular attention is paid to the families and younger people, for whom there are workshops, multisensory experiences and dedicated programmes such as Drawing Art, fostering a spontaneous approach to reflection on the’environmental balance and on the’listening reciprocal.
