AM Club | Hans Memling. The Crucifixion
Milan (MI)

Thursday 12.03.2026 at 16:00-17:00
On the occasion of Lent and Easter 2026, the Diocesan Museum of Milan proposes an exhibition around the Crucifixion by Hans Memling (Seligenstadt, Germany, c. 1435/1440 - Bruges 1494), the great master of the Flemish Renaissance, kept at the Museo Civico di Palazzo Chiericati in Vicenza. In an itinerary realised in collaboration with Casa Testori, the exhibition places Memling's masterpiece in dialogue with the works of four contemporary artists, Stefano Arienti, Matteo Fato, Julia Krahn and Danilo Sciorilli, who, in their works created especially for this occasion, have established a relationship between this masterpiece of the past and our time.
