Special visits to the MUDI in Alba

Two special events to discover Alba from above and below ground: a panoramic climb among the Romanesque towers of the Cathedral and a guided tour by a professional archaeologist of the archaeological site beneath San Lorenzo.

📝 Visits

MUDI offers two complementary experiences dedicated to the history and identity of Alba.

6 December – 45 metres above Alba
A guided tour through the double structure of the Romanesque bell tower of the Cathedral, which preserves two bell towers from the 10th and 12th centuries. From the top, the view opens up onto the “city of 100 towers” immersed in the Christmas atmosphere.
The tour continues inside the museum with hot herbal teas and local products, before concluding with the archaeological exhibition and lapidary under the Cathedral.

20 December – ArcheoMUDI
A special tour of the underground archaeological site accompanied by a real archaeologist, who will reveal stories, structures, objects and curiosities of the Roman and medieval city.
A fascinating journey through time, perfect for those who want to learn more and discover new details about Alba's past.
