Needle and scissors lessons

On the occasion of the Adventures between the pages - Reading at the Museomusli promoted by Kid Pass, MUSLI offers an afternoon dedicated to one of the old school lessons that combined manual skills, creativity and knowledge of the world of work: sewing.

A thematic visit accompanied by readings of stories and nursery rhymes will lead participants to discover the school customs of the past, with a focus on play and learning related to housework.

To follow, a practical lesson will make it possible to relive the experience of a 1920s classroom, exploring original furniture, books, teaching materials and instruments, and engaging in sewing and embroidery exercises.

In conclusion, it will be possible to visit some of the historical flats of the Marquises of Barolo, in search of antique textiles, tapestries and embroideries.
