The Painted Landscape

Together we take part in a shared observation of a large painting by the painter Faustino Joli, depicting the Montichiari countryside in the mid-19th century. Together we analyse the landscape, the moorland, the mountains in the background, the flora, the animals and the people who populated it. After the visit, the youngest (4-8 years old) will be able to make a composition of their favourite animal with scissors and cardboard, while the oldest (9-12 years old) will try their hand at filling in cards with quizzes and questions, collected in a leaflet that they can then take with them.
