The photographs, divided into nine thematic sectionspowerfully portray life in the Arctic, focusing on iconic species such as polar bears, reindeer, Arctic terns and fulmars. These images are not mere documents, but true visual narratives that highlight the fragility and beauty of a changing world threatened by the climate change. The exhibition is completed by eighteen portraits in black and white of the residents of Longyearbyenaccompanied by first-hand accounts of the impact of global warming, and a panel dedicated to the climate stripesa powerful visual symbol of the climatic changes taking place.
The route is enriched with a 20-minute documentary produced by Raitre, which tells the story of the project 'A family in the Arctic', offering an intimate and personal look at daily life in these extreme lands. An exhibition that combines photography, science and testimony direct, inviting us to reflect on our relationship with nature and the need to protect it.
