1988-1993 an important historical period from a geopolitical point of view, art takes on the values of its time and the future is an uncertain land. The languages of art lose their clear boundaries, opening up to a radical and necessary hybridisation. 32 artists have been selected to represent the paradigm shift: installation, painting, photography and video are opening up to new perspectives and the advent of the internet is silently and unstoppably coming alongside, bringing about an epochal change.
