AM Club | An afternoon at the MEGAMuseum in Aosta

Abbonamento Musei organises a special visit to the MEGAMuseum of Aosta. A special opportunity to get to know the Megalithic Area of Aostawith an atmospheric guided tour of the museum space of 10,000 square metres which holds valuable archaeological evidence, for a journey from the Neolithic to the medieval age, in a unique place in Europe, which holds 6,000 years of history.

Among the numerous archaeological finds preserved, the anthropomorphic stelae stand out: large stone slabs with human profiles made by the skilful hands of ancient prehistoric men to give eternal form to spirituality.

In the archaeological site, overlooked by the museum sections, one can also see sacred ploughing, ritual wells and megalithic tombs that tell of the millennial relationship between man, nature and spirituality.

At the end of the visit, tasting with local products zero kilometre reworked by experts, for a toast while admiring the impressive prehistoric remains.
