QU.EEN - Narratives of art and nature
QUEEN'S VILLA - Turin (TO)

From Wednesday 24.09.2025 to Sunday 9.11.2025
The heart of the exhibition QU.EEN - narratives of art and nature at Villa della Regina beats through two intense and complementary exhibitions, which transform the historic Savoy residence into a place of creative reflection and of dialogue between the arts. The exhibition I am not a poet, I love to engrave my word by Paolo Gubinelli explores the evocative power of the paperwhich has become a fragile and powerful symbol of the memory. Via ceramic engravings, watercolours and reliefsGubinelli establishes an intimate relationship between matter, light and wordinterweaving their works with the verses of poets and the decorative history of the villa's rooms. The works are integrated into the context, enhancing the artistic and architectural heritage of the place, enriched by authoritative critical references.
Suite for a sunflower by Marco Cordero is an immersive project that combines architecture, art and memory. The focus is the Virtual reconstruction of the Piffetti Librarya lost masterpiece of 18th-century cabinet-making, made accessible thanks to augmented reality technologies. The site-specific installations and the sculptures made from books give substance to a visual narrative dense with symbolic references. The book becomes form and concept, material support and vehicle of meaning, embodying the link between knowledge, time and identity. The result is a poetic and multi-sensory journey which enhances the relationship between the historical heritage of the villa and the languages of the contemporaneity.
