included
From Thursday 9.10.2025 to Sunday 30.11.2025

The Waldensian Library of Torre Pellice hosts an intense and engaging travelling exhibition dedicated to the memory of the Resistance in the Pinerolo areathe result of a meticulous census of gravestones and memorial stones by the Waldensian Cultural Centre Foundation with the collaboration of Metropolitan City of Turin and ANPi Val Pellice.

The Pinerolo area, a strategic area during the World War IIIt was the scene of events that profoundly marked the history of the area: civil opposition, partisan formations rooted in the valleys, until the climax of the Liberation. This exhibition highlights these events by placing them within the broader narrative of the Italian Resistance, relating images, testimonials e historical places.

Via illustrative panels, period photographs and rich biographical documentation, the visitor is guided along an itinerary that combines individual and collective memory. The faces of young fighters, the family stories, the mountain landscapes that were both a refuge and the scene of battle. An exhibition that stimulates profound reflection on identity, resistance and historical memoryenhancing the local dimension as a bridge to understanding the national context.
