September in the Royal Residences of Savoy

After the summer, September brings a packed calendar to the Royal Residences of Savoy, including concerts, exhibitions, guided tours, family workshops and the European Heritage Days (27-28 September) dedicated to the theme 'Architecture: the art of building'.


Queen's Villa

  • Sunday 14 September (14.30-18.00) - Re-enactment of the 1706 victory.
  • Sunday 21 September (11 a.m.) - Thematic visit for the International Day of Peace.
  • From Wednesday 24 September - Start of the review QU.EEN with exhibitions, workshops, talks and performances.
  • Saturday 27 September
    • 9.30-13.00 - Watercolour workshop en plein air
    • 16.00 - Family Villa with workshop Silent Book
    • 17.30 - Aperitif in the Vineyard
    • From 18.00 - Special evening opening (1 €)
  • Sunday 28 September (10 a.m.-6 p.m.) - Ceramic painting workshops.
  • Tuesday 30 September (14.30) - Conference UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs on art, sustainability and climate.

Castle of Agliè

  • Saturday 13 September (18.00) - Concert by Jun Li He (AURA review) and special evening opening from 19.30.
  • Sunday 21 September (from 9.30 a.m.) - Castiling in the Castle, international chess tournament + jazz concert (8.30 pm).
  • Saturday 27 September - 15.00 Nature tour Symphonies and Naturaliaevening opening 20.00-22.30 (1 €).
  • Sunday 28 September (15.00-18.00) - Visits to the Sala Tuscolana dedicated to archaeological finds.

Castle of Racconigi

  • Saturday 13 September - Special opening of the Nannies' Apartment (2-6 pm) and concert Notes in the Castle (21.00-23.00).
  • 14-17 September (21.00-23.00) - Festival Books in Castello with performances and presentations (Lella Costa, Chiara Francini, Concita De Gregorio).
  • Sunday 21 September (10.30 a.m.) - Holy Mass.
  • Saturday 27 September (11 a.m.) - Exhibition opening Destination Museum + family workshop.
  • Saturday 27 September (19.30-22.30) - Special evening opening (1 €).
  • Sunday 28 September - Guided tours of the 20th century flats and collections.

Moncalieri Castle

  • Until 28 September - Show Royal breakfasts and white tangles.
  • 20-28 September - Show The Top Company in the Rose Garden.
  • Saturday 27 September - Concert Choir Imago Vocis (18.00) + evening opening (18.00-23.00) with historical animations (1 €).
  • Sunday 28 September (18.00-23.00) - Evening opening with theatrical visits.

Fort of Gavi

  • Sunday 14 September - Historical re-enactments of the 17th century in cooperation with re-enactors Veterans of Flanders e Gatteschi.
  • Until 28 September - Exhibitions STONES (photographs and installations) and Different paths... by Roberto Bonafè.
  • Saturday 27 September (18.00-21.00) - Special evening opening (1 €).

Serralunga d'Alba Castle

  • Saturday 20 September (3.15 pm) - Middle Ages in the family, visit-workshop for children 8-12 years old.


Abbey of Vezzolano

  • Saturday 20 September (21.00) - Concert Ensemble Novi Cantores Torino.
  • Saturday 27 September - Evening opening until 9 p.m.
  • Sunday 28 September (16.00) - Concert in collaboration with Musicaviva.

Abbey of Fruttuaria

  • Sunday 28 September (15.00-17.00) - Guided tours of the archaeological trail and the 18th-century basilica.


Carignano Palace

  • Saturday 27 September - 10.30 a.m. workshop Go to bed! with podcast + 16.00 workshop Painted architectures. Evening opening 18.00-21.00 (1 €).
  • 27-28 September - Extraordinary visits in collaboration with the National Museum of the Risorgimento. Sunday 28 (11.30 a.m.) visit reserved for subscribers.
