The exhibition Street Art Revolution. Banksy and companions: art itineraries at Fortress of Bard represents a total immersion in the world of Street Artone of the most dynamic and revolutionary forms of thecontemporary art. The project, curated by Patrizia Cattaneo Moresi and realised in collaboration with 24 Hours CultureIt explores the evolution of a movement that originated in marginal urban contexts and has now become a global cultural phenomenon.
Via 50 works arranged in suggestive gunnery hallsthe exhibition traces the journey of Street Art from its origins with pioneers such as Taki183 e Seento international masters such as Banksy, Obey e JR. The itinerary continues with the French, Italian and European scenes, offering a rich mosaic of styles, techniques and visions.
The strength of the route lies in its ability to bring into dialogue space and creativityIn addition to the works on display inside, two site-specific interventions by Raul and the crew Truly Design animate the outdoor spaces of the fortress. In addition, art leaves the walls of the Fortress and expands into the Municipalities of Donnas, Pont-Saint-Martin and Perlozthanks to the unpublished works of Damiano Mengozzi, Madame e Hitneswhich will transform the Lower Valley into a true diffuse museum.
The exhibition at the Fortress of Bard, an iconic fortress and place of passage, is thus transformed into a urban art crossroadswhere each work is a testimony to resistance, vision and change.
