We trace Lorenzo Lotto's life through the museum's rooms from Venice to Bergamo: the works become stages in a life and artistic journey that brought him to the city in 1513, where he remained for more than ten years, leaving an indelible mark for centuries to come. We follow his trail map in hand until we find ourselves in the city's churches, where the works are still located today, thanks to Axel Hütte's photographic shots.
