Jewels of Taste

When food meets bijou, the result is an explosion of creativity, irony and sophistication. At Casalmaggiore Bijou Museum, back on stage Jewels of Taste, an exhibition celebrating ten years of a unique project conceived by Mara Cappelletti, history and criticism of jewellery. The exhibition guides the visitor through a route thematic and sensorywhere the world of food becomes the protagonist of extraordinary goldsmith creations.

There are three exhibition sections: The Taste of Fashionwith interpretations by iconic brands such as Moschino, Ferrè, Valentino; The Contemporary Tastewith works by international designers including Angela Simone, Barbara Uderzo and Eleonora Ghilardi; The Vintage Tastea journey through time among historical bijoux by Trifari, Sharra Pagano and Ornella Bijoux. Food, transfigured into ornament, reveals itself as a metaphor for abundance, seduction and stylein a continuous interplay between art and design.

The exhibition is enriched by the poetic installations by Alejandro Ruizand the catalogue edited by Cappelletti. An event that enhances the historical heritage of the museum, with a mouth-watering, cultured and surprising exhibition, designed for all fashion, costume and creativity enthusiasts.
