Ecomuseo della Roggia Mora – Museo delle Macchine di Leonardo
includedThis historic building, a water mill with two still functioning water wheels, dates back to 1488. It was built by Ludovico il Moro along the Roggia that bears his name and offered to his wife Beatrice d'Este as a wedding gift in 1494.
Here is the permanent exhibition of Models of Leonardo da Vinci's Machines, curated by the La Città Ideale Association, where the Italian genius is recounted through a display of the machines he designed, reproduced by Dario Noè, who has created almost 50 scale models with craftsmanship, ingenuity and passion: visitors can observe and operate them, in an exhibition that gives them the opportunity not only to look at them but also to touch them, satisfying the curiosity of adults and children alike.
A living place, a place for preserving memory; an expression of time, a space in which to pause and experience.
