On the occasion of the Milan Art Week, Sunday 6 April it will be possible to visit the installation for the first time and free of charge, upon reservation. Robert Wilson. Motherset up at the Pietà Rondanini Museum at Sforza Castlethanks to the Sunday at the Museum.

The work, signed by the famous American artist and director Robert Wilsonis presented by Salone del Mobile.Milan in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan | Culture and will be officially open to the public, again by appointment, from8 April to 18 May. The project represents an intense dialogue between Milan Art Week e Design Week, anticipating the Cultural Programme of the 63rd edition of the Manifestation.

In MotherWilson creates an immersive installation of extraordinary visual and sound power, dedicated to the Rondanini Pietà by Michelangeloconsidered - together with theLast Supper by Leonardo - one of Milan's most iconic works. Through a refined play of light, shadow and soundthe artist creates an emotional experience in dialogue with the Stabat Materin the vocal and instrumental version by the Estonian composer Arvo Pärt.

It is a work that does not explain, but welcomes; it does not tell, but invites the viewer to find a inner spaceand let visual and sound suggestions flow through in an atmosphere of contemplation and recollection.
