Its rich collection of furniture, tapestries, vases, miniatures and paintings is in addition to previously acquired collections, including one donated by Oscar dell'Era, the last descendant of the famous painter Giovan Battista dell'Era (Treviglio 1765-Florence 1799), and one from the home of Tommaso Grossi (a Treviglio poet and novelist) painted by Carlo Gerosa, an excellent portraitist of the Milanese aristocracy. With the passage of time, the collection has been enriched thanks to donations from numerous artists and personalities from Treviglio (such as Trento Longaretti and Don Piero Perego) and thanks to the Premio Città di Treviglio, a competition aimed at promoting young artists.
In addition to the works on display in the museum, there are tour routes for children and an atelier corner equipped with art materials available to visitors.
